Donna Louise Miller

Miller, Donna L. (nee Hardesty) age 73, of Kettering departed this life on January 24, 2017 at Hospice of Dayton. A loving mother, grandmother and sister. Born in Dayton, OH on April 18, 1943. She graduated from Julienne High School –class of 1961. Donna obtained her LPN degree from Green Memorial Hospital. Later, she went on to get her RN degree from Kettering Medical Center where she was employed for 26 years. Donna volunteered at the Fraze, Senior Adult Services for the City of Kettering and Hospice of Dayton. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry Sr. and Frances , brother Harry Jr., and sister Cecelia Varden. She is survived by devoted sons, Jeffrey Miller of Charlotte , NC and Jason Miller of Dallas, TX. Also survived by 4 cherished grandchildren , Megan, Griffin, Andrew, and Brooke, and loving sisters PJ Kidwell, Joanne Arnold, and Chris Price of Dayton. A Celebration of Life will take place at 1:30 pm on Wednesday February 8, 2017 at the Tobias Funeral Home-Far Hills Chapel 5471 Far Hills Ave at Rahn Rd. A Gathering of Friends will be from 11:30-1:30 pm prior to the Celebration of Life Service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to The Hospice of Dayton.
