Bishop, Dorothy A., 89, of Dayton, passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at the Widow’s Home. She is preceded in death by her husband Creed Bishop Jr., sons Robert and Arthur Bishop, grandson Thomas York, great granddaughter Brittney Mastin. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Creed III and wife Darlene Bishop of Riverside; daughters and sons-in-law Jane and John Reid of Dayton, Sharon and Fred Hatton of Brookville, Elizabeth Powers of Trotwood, Bernice and Willard York of Brookville; brother Eugene Smith of Dayton; 8 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren. Dorothy retired from the Juvenile Detention Center after 12 years of service. Funeral services will be 11 AM Saturday, August 3, 2013 at TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd at Grange Hall Rd. Interment Valley View Memorial Gardens.
