Douglas W. Turpin

Douglas Wayne Turpin, age 82 of Dayton, OH entered in to the arms of Jesus on Saturday, February 3rd, 2018. He was born November 15th 1935 in Winston, KY. Preceded in death y his parents Pryse and Opal (Moore) Turpin, daughter Teresa Bowsher, brother Roser Turpin, and sister Evelyn Williams. He is survived by his wife Jane, sons Gary, Gerald, and Galen, grandchildren Adam and Autum Bowlin. Sisters Carol Davis and Janet Turpin, family friend Bonnie Edwards, and numerous other family and friends.

Doug was a barber for many years in the Dayton and Fairborn area until retiring in 2010 where he made many friends. He loved playing golf with his cousins and vacationing in Gatlinburg, TN.

Services will be held on Tuesday, February 6th, 2018 from 9am to 11am at Freedom Freewill Baptist church at 4814 Upper Valley Rd. Dayton, OH. Pastor Dwayne Bryan Officiating. Burial will be at Turpin Family Cemetery in Winston, KY. Tobias Funeral Home of Beavercreek, OH and Davis Funeral Home of Wartburg, TN are conducting the services.
