Edith Zimmerman

Edith L. Zimmerman, age 94, of Riverside passed away on Sunday, January 18th, 2015 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born in Springfield, OH on October 20th, 1920, the daughter of William and Frances (Nation) Tayloe, who preceded her in death. Edith was also preceded in death by her husband, David Zimmerman (1990), sisters, Frances Brigner and Alice Tayloe and brothers, Blaire “Bud” Tayloe and Arthur Tayloe. Edith is survived by her daughter, Donna Spicer, sister, Helen King of Richmond, IN, grandchildren, Tom Spicer, Todd (Tina Wilson) Spicer and Julie (David) Middleton, great-grandchildren, Lacie, Sydney, Bailey, and Marley, brother-in-law, Robert (Mary) Zimmerman, sister-in-law, Careen Rosell, dear friend Ed March and numerous nieces and nephews. She was an avid member of the Airway Baptist Church and will be missed dearly by her family and friends. Funeral service will be held at 1pm on Tuesday, January 27th, 2015 at Tobias Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek, OH 45432. Interment will follow in Woodland Cemetery, 118 Woodland Avenue, Dayton, OH 45409. Friends may call between 4pm and 8pm on Monday, January 26th, 2015 at the funeral home.
