LAY, Edna, age 100 went to be with her Lord and Savior Wednesday February 3, 2016 at the Heartland of Kettering. Edna was born and raised in Dayton, Ohio. She married her beloved husband Charles in 1947, and was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Charles preceded Edna in death in 1994 along with their daughter Glenda Hammon in December 2014, granddaughter Cheryl Fent, son-in-law Kent Brewer and her three siblings. Edna is survived by her daughters Charlene Aper, Dolores Brewer, and son-in-law James Hammon, nine grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren, and seventeen great-great-grandchildren. Funeral service 12 noon Saturday, February 6, 2016 at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-Far Hills Chapel with Rev. William Loudermilk officiating. Burial will follow Miami Valley Memory Garden. Family will receive friends one hour prior to funeral service.
