Edward Lee Ellis

ELLIS, Edward Lee, age 69 of Kettering, OH, went to be home with the Lord, Tuesday, July 19, 2011 after a long battle with cancer. Edward worked at NCR from 1965 to 1970, was store manager at Eubank Tire Co. from 1970 to 1985, and was associate store manager at Long John Silvers from 1985 to 2001 where he retired. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Ellis and sister, Nancy Ellis. Edward is survived by his wife of 47 years, Bonnie (Godown) Ellis; sons, Anthony (Susan) Ellis, Todd (Kristin Lemon) Ellis, Shawn (Angie) Ellis, and Matthew (Erika) Ellis; mother, Betty Ellis; sister, Carolyn (Paul) Becker; grandchildren, Tori, Noah, Jacob, Samuel, and Maya; many nieces & nephews. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 pm Friday, July 22, 2011 at TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME–FAR HILLS CHAPEL, 5471 Far Hills Ave. at Rahn Rd. Funeral service 10 am Saturday at the funeral home. Pastor Tony Chester officiating. Interment, Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
