Skip is survived by his wife, Carol Newbery; children, Mike Newbery, Wendy Newbery, and stepson, Mike Bader; grandchildren, Julianna Newbery and Connor Newbery.
Skip was educated at the University of Dayton earning a Bachelor of Education degree. He taught at Corpus Christi before transitioning to Tobias Funeral Home as a funeral director and embalmer. He served the Dayton community for over forty years in this capacity.
Skip was a animal lover and he will be missed by Lyla, Piper, Bronson and Bullitt.
