Edward Raymond Thomas

THOMAS, Edward R. Age 94, passed away Wednesday January 13, 2016. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in W.W. II. Edward was an electronics engineer and worked for several Dayton companies over his career. He was preceded in death by two wives, the mother of his children, Barbara Thomas to whom he was married for over 50 years and Elinor Thomas; a son, Jerry Thomas; daughter-in-law, Malinda Thomas; and by a sister, Louise. He is survived by sons, Steve (Lorie) Thomas, Dave Thomas, and Mark (Leanne) Thomas; a daughter, Janie (Vic) Ayres; daughter-in-law, Sue Thomas; sisters, Mary Stall and Edna Jennings; grandchildren, Chris Thomas, Katie Washington, Ashley Thomas, Alissa Thomas, Jordan Thomas, Dylan Thomas, Ian Thomas, Rachael Pollack, Michael Loughran and Dan Loughran; great grandchildren, Emma Pollack, Austin Pollack, Ellis Pollack, Jack Pollack, Porter Thomas and Jasper Thomas. Visitation will be Friday January 22, 2016 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Tobias Funeral Home, 5471 Far Hills Ave. Funeral services will be Saturday January 23rd at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
