Daughter, Sister, Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, Friend loved by all who knew her. She went out of her way to correct things that were wrong, and help people to help themselves. Ema Cochran, 80 of Kettering, Ohio passed away peacefully April 11th 2021. Daughter of Alejandro and “Tasi” Rosas of El Paso Texas, Ema was a legal secretary until marrying and moving to Ohio. She was married to George Cochran for 53 years before he passed away in 2015. She was part of the ladies auxiliary for the Kettering FOP where she helped organize many of the events for the police families. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Wright State University with a communications degree. She was hired at the Defense Electronics Supply Center, where she worked on numerous weapon system items as an inventory manager specialist. During her time there she received suggestion awards, on the spot awards and sustained superior performance awards. Later in life, she discovered a newfound passion for Reiki becoming a Reiki master, and eventually becoming a body talk practitioner. She was a natural and helped so many people near and far. Ema is preceded in death by her husband George (GW) Cochran, parents Alejandro and Tasi Rosas, Brother Alex Rosas Jr. She is survived by children Russell (Cindi) Cochran Dayton Ohio. Shannon (Jon) Flynn Springboro Ohio. Siblings Rosa (Bibi) Salazar, Robert Rosas, Carmen Amparan (Humberto) and Julie Campos El Paso, TX. Grandchildren Brandon, Alyssa , and Nathan Flynn, Allison and Adam Berry. She has 96 nieces/ nephews, grandnieces/nephews and great grandnieces/nephews. Sister in laws Marilyn Cochran (California) and Carolyn Cochran (Arizona.) Celebration of life will be held April 17th officiated by Chaplain Angela Timpson.
