Johnson, Emilia (Emily), age 89, of Beavercreek, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 30, 2017, at St. Leonard Health Care Center surrounded by family. She was born in Dickenson, ND, on August 1, 1928, the daughter of Michael and Barbara (Frenzel) Olheiser, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Raymond Earl Johnson in 1987, her brother, Pete Olheiser and a sister, Maggie Kuntz. Emily was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother whose greatest love was her family and is survived by her six children, Michael E.(Annette) Johnson, of Beavercreek, Kim (Tim) Middendorf, of Okeana, OH, Renee (Robert) Grahm, of Xenia, Tom (Peggy) Johnson, of Washington Township, OH, Julie Ralston, of Vandalia, Jenni (Steve) Batten, of Shelbyville, IN; a sister, Polly Schneller, of San Diego, CA; a brother, Martin Olheiser, of Phoenix, AZ; 13 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was a former member of St. Brigid Catholic Church. Prayers will be said at 9:15 a.m. on Thursday, January 4, 2018, at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Road at Grange Hall Road. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 a.m. at St. Brigid Catholic Church, 312 Fairground Road, Xenia, OH with Father John Krumm presiding. Interment will be in St. Brigid Cemetery.
