Emma Ann Feldmann

FELDMANN, Emma Ann, age 94, of Centerville, OH passed away peacefully on Monday, February 5, 2018 at Bethany Village in Centerville, OH at the age of 94 years. She was born on August 9, 1923 to Herman and Gizella Tima in Chicago, IL and met and married Louis W. Feldmann, Jr., her husband of 60 years, during World War II. She worked as the managing secretary in the Biology Department at the University of Dayton for 27 years. She had a high respect for education that she instilled in her children. She was determined that her children would all attend college in spite of a lack of resources. She realized that desire when all four children graduated from UD. She was preceded in death by her parents Herman and Gizella Tima, her husband Louis W. Feldmann Jr., and her brother Frank Tima. She is survived by her daughter Louann (Michael Herndon) and sons Louis, Robert (Nikki Burns) and Richard. She loved and was devoted to her 8 grandchildren, Heather Mulligan (Conrad), Liesl Herndon, Michele Mazey (Bryan), Matt (Mandy), Amy Kleman (Brad), Benjamin (Katie), Heidi Peterson (Rob), Mike Burns (Karen) and 14.5 great grandchildren, Emma Mulligan, Erin Mulligan, Natalie Mazey, Logan Mazey, Isabelle Mazey, Millie Feldmann, Myles Feldmann, Maevery Feldmann, Theodore Feldmann, Meredith Feldmann, Leo Petersen, Eve Peterson, Riley Burns, and Ethan Burns. Visitation will be Friday, February 9, 2018 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-FAR HILLS CHAPEL, 5471 Far Hills Ave. at Rahn Rd. Dayton, OH 45429. Mass of Christian Burial, 12:00 noon Saturday, February 10, 2018 at St Albert the Great Catholic Church, 3033 Far Hills Ave. Kettering, OH 45429.
