Erica Rae Bertke

Erica fought with incredible strength and courage throughout her illness. While her family will forever wish they could have had more time with her, they are grateful that she can finally rest after all she endured. She will be deeply missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.

Erica was a deeply creative and artistic person who found joy in crafting and creating beautiful things. Her craft room was filled with little treasures that reflected her creativity, imagination, and love for making things special. She was also an amazing cook who took great pride in preparing delicious meals for the people she loved. Her creativity, generosity, and the love she put into the things she made will be remembered fondly by her family.

Erica was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Stamas Weimer, whom she lost when Erica was just 28 years old. Their time apart was difficult, and her family finds comfort in knowing that Erica is now at peace and reunited with her mother.

She is survived by her children, Mackenzie Bertke, Jordan Bertke and his wife, Brionna; her grandson, Boston Bertke; her father, Jim Weimer; her sister, Elaine Ott and her husband, Tom; her niece, Melanie Ott; her great nephews, Traven Ott and Kamden Howard; and her beloved dog, Murphy.

Her dog, Murphy, was truly her favorite little guy. Murphy will remain with her family and will be loved and cared for in her memory.

Erica will always be loved and remembered by her family. Her life, her creativity, her strength, and the memories she created with those she loved will remain with them forever.
