Ervey John Henderson

HENDERSON, Ervey John, formerly of Beavercreek, OH, passed away on July 22 at the age of 76 in Anderson, SC. He is survived by his wife of 47 years Alice (Rose) Henderson; their sons Ervey John (Alison) Henderson II of Downers Grove, IL and Joseph P. Henderson of Columbus, OH; their daughter Amy (Robin) Sims of Alpharetta, GA; his brother Harold Henderson of Alma, MI; sister LouAnn (William) McAdams of Pomona, CA; grandchildren Logan and Evan Henderson, and Nolan and Austin Sims; brother-in-laws John (Barbara) Rose of Bethesda, MD, Thomas (Meredith) Rose of Blairsville, GA, Philip (Margaret) Rose of Nashville, TN, Mark (Susan) Rose of Saline, MI; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Harold and Lulu Henderson. Ervey ended his 23 year long career with the United States Air Force as a Lt. Colonel. He retired from the Air Force Audit Agency in 2002. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Ervey at 10 am on Saturday, July 28, at St Helen Catholic Church, 5100 Burkhardt Road in Riverside. A visitation will be held on Friday, July 27 from 4-7 at Tobias Funeral Home, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Ave in Beavercreek.
