OBITUARY
Eugene Frank Tavenner
June 12, 1924 – July 4, 2013
Tavenner, Eugene Frank, age 89 of Springfield and Dayton passed away July 4, 2013. He is preceded in death by his wife Ruth, an infant daughter “little Jean”, and a brother Donald Lee Tavenner. He is survived by his children: E. Frank Tavenner II (wife Sheila), Lee Adele Ray (late husband Craig) Phyllis Eva Stonecipher (husband Paul), and Melissa Anne Couch (husband Michael). Also survived by grandchildren: Amy, Stephanie, Neil, Julie, Jake, Joseph, John, Jessalyn, and Marissa, and numerous great and great-great grandchildren. Eugene was a WWII Navy veteran and he worked as a photographer for many years. The funeral service will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, July 6, 2013 at Tobias Funeral Home, Belmont Chapel. Friends may visit from 11am until the time of service. Burial in Vale Cemetery in Springfield. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Senior Independence Hospice (envelopes will be provided).
