Evelyn Scharns Coleman

Known for her cheerful and fun-loving personality she will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her daughter, Nancy L. Taylor, her grandson, Zachary Taylor (Ashley) and granddaughter, Jenna Bishop (Sam), great grandchildren, Mason, Delaney, Deacon and Emily along with her faithful dog, Molly.

She was proceeded in death by her husband of 60 years, Arthur Coleman, her parents, Gustav and Emma Scharns, her siblings Alberta Kelly, Ralph Scharns and Eleanor Walker.

She was employed by National Cash Register Company (NCR) for over 30 years. She was a member of the Eastern Star, Red Hat Society and a member at Fairhaven Church. She enjoyed her friends and spending time at the Milton Athletic Club, Red Hat society luncheons and the Antioch Shrine. At home, she enjoyed needlework, music and baking Christmas cookies. She loved her family and keeping traditions alive. She was known for her enthusiasm in cheering on the Ohio State Buckeyes!

The Celebration of life will take place Saturday, September 14th at 2:00 P.M. at Fairhaven Church 637 East Whipp Road, Centerville, Ohio 45459.
