

PENNINGTON, Evelyn L. Day, age 76 of Kettering was called home to be with her Lord and Savior after a brief illness, Sunday, September 18, 2011 at Kettering Medical Center. Evelyn was born on August 18, 1935, in Morrow, Ohio to John and Hattie McGuire Day and raised in West Liberty, Kentucky. She was preceded in death by two sisters and six brothers. She is survived by her husband Ray; daughter, Karen (Michael) Isenbarger; a granddaughter, Jessica Isenbarger; a sister, Ruby Critchell; a brother, Bill (Eva) Day; a step daughter, Denise (Ken) Wall; step son Danny (Pam) Pennington; four step grandchildren; two step great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Evelyn was a faithful member of the County Line Baptist Church for nearly 40 years serving God and especially loved singing in the choir. She was a wonderful wife, mother, nana, sister, aunt and a good friend to many. She was always ready to help in whatever way she could. Her smile and laughter will be missed so much.
