YORK, Evelyn (Detling) 98, passed away August 9th at Bethany Village. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years Orville (Duke) York. She is survived by her daughter Sharon Zimmerman and son -in-law Jack; a granddaughter, Shelli Hardy of Dallas, TX; and great grandsons, Jack and Bryan. Evelyn attended Christ United Methodist Church and participated in senior activities. She volunteered for many years at Miami Valley Hospital. Evelyn's favorite pastime was playing cards and she was excellent at Euchre. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Family will receive guests on Saturday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Tobias Funeral Home, 5471 Far Hills Ave. Funeral Service will follow visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in David's Cemetery.
