Fern Howard

Fern Howard, age 88 of Beavercreek, passed away Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at Trinity Community. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Howard, in 2004 following 52 years of marriage. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Millie Jane Wilson, brothers Underwood Wilson and Al Wilson and sisters; Delora Large, Sarah Elsie Nolan and Delia Conley. She is survived by two sons: Greg Howard of Beavercreek and Alan Howard and wife Nancy of Westchester, OH. She is also survived by three grandchildren: Emily Howard, Sam Howard and Ella Howard, brother Lehman Wilson, and special niece, Erlene Cunningham. Fern was a loving mother and grandmother to her family; she was a charismatic lady who could light up the room just by walking in. She was possessed of a great sense of humor but never spoke ill of anyone. She will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved her. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 6 from Noon until 1 PM at the Tobias Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 1 PM on Tuesday following the visitation. Interment will be in Byron Cemetery following the funeral.
