

Gudgell, Ford Brooks, 89, of Dayton, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, October 22, 2015 at Lincoln Park Manor. Ford was preceded in death by his wife Pauline, his parents William Bryan and Oma Dee Gudgell, his brothers Omer, Jim and Ronnie Gudgell, and his sister Juanita Miller. Ford is survived by his daughters Connie Carone (Don) and Cheryl Duncan (Jim), his grandchildren, Cara Carone Boyle (Brendan), Chad Duncan, Kyle Carone (Stefanie), Joe Duncan and Sarah Hall (Joel). Ford is also survived by his many great-grandchildren, Jack, Ryan and Brooke Boyle, Charley Brooks and Wesley Ford Hall and Domenico James Carone. Ford is a Navy World War II veteran. He is a former Post Commander of VFW post 2800. He worked at Kohler Aircraft as an aircraft mechanic and he retired from General Motors. Ford is also a Free Mason and avid golfer and bowler. Visitation will be held at Tobias Funeral Home, Belmont Chapel, on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 from 10:30am until 12:00pm. Services will start at 12:00pm. Ford will be interred at David’s Cemetery in Kettering, Ohio.
