

Fogle, Forrest R., age 72 of Dayton, passed away Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at Hospice of Dayton. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Sarah Fogle, two brothers, Mark Fogle and David Fogle, and his best friend and mother-in-law Mallie Fugate. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Sandra and his children: Tammy Temple and husband Kevin, Cheryl Fogle, and Steven Fogle and wife Tara. Six grandchildren also survive him: Ryan (Lindsey), Adam, Dakotah, Declan, Daley and Donovan, as does one great-grandchild, Gavin, two brothers, Charles Fogle and Walter Fogle, and numerous nieces and nephews. Forrest attended General Motors Institute and was a journeyman electronics technician at GM until retirement. He was the founder and president of Air City Pinewood Derby and Computer Age Graphics, and taught high school math and computer sciences. Forrest was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Temple and loved to fish, camp, and participate in Pinewood Derby racing. His family wishes to thank Forrest’s caregivers at Kettering Medical Center (ICU) and Hospice of Dayton for the comfort they gave him. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, September 5, 2015 at the Tobias Funeral Home Far Hills Chapel, 5471 Far Hills Ave. with Pastor Jerry Siler officiating, Friends may call at the funeral home from 9:30 AM until the time of the service on Saturday. Interment will be in Valley View Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Hospice of Dayton in Forrest’s memory.
