I was so shocked to hear of Fred's passing.  He was a long term customer @ 5 O' Clock Computers.  I had not seen you for sometime, but you had a great personality, we often chatted when you stopped by.  Please accept our prayers and condolence.

Oh Fred, what would we have done without you all these years?  You programmed our first personnel computer in 1986 (DOS), and it still runs today because of your brilliance!  You not only were great at what you did, you were a true friend who would drop everything and always help in our time of need.  DL and I still talk about how much we miss seeing you around, but are eternally grateful for all you did for us.  We lost a great friend.  We all love you Fred!  May you rest in peace for all of eternity.  Our deepest condolences to your entire family.

Fred, we loved you and we are so sad because we'll miss you so much. We know how you treasured life and family and friends. As the Irish blessing says: until we meet again, may God hold you in the hollow of His hand.

My condolences to Fred's Family. I knew Fred in his early days and worked with him at the Salem Mall.  I have lost touch with him over the years but know that he was fun loving, kind hearted and just an all around good guy.  A good person was lost this day.

I knew Fred for over 10 years.  Everyone in our company enjoyed working with Fred.  I always though that he was a helluva guy and he never failed to solve our problems with a high level of integrity.  Finding out about his passing has seriously bummed me out.  Deepest condolences to his family and loved ones.

It's hard to believe that just a few weeks ago, Fred brought us tomatoes out of his little garden and sat and chatted for quite some time out by our pool.  He was a wonderful neighbor and we are so saddened by his passing.  He will be greatly missed.  We extend our sympathies to the entire family.

Fred was a beloved member of the Cole Acton Harmon Dunn family, and we grieve his death.  Too young, too soon.  We send our deepest condolences to his family.  Please know that he touched many lives with his gentle demeanor and his twinkling sense of humor.  I will miss his slow, gravelly voice on the phone when I'd call with a crisis, "Okay Lisa, what's the problem?" God Bless you Fred.  I am confident you have earned His eternal paradise.

I am sad to read about Fred's passing. He was instrumental in getting our computers networked at Universal 1 Credit Union. I was just starting out in computers and Fred went out of his way to help me learn. Fred was quiet but had a dry sense of humor that was refreshing.

Fred was a great person.  I am so glad that we where able to know each other and talk computers with each other.. You will be missed..

A bright star departed this earth on August 23rd, 2013.  I hope that it stopped in Italy as Fred always wanted to go there.  He was so proud of his Italian heritage.  Fred was loving, generous, kind, intelligent, and very very funny.  He was not defined by his work although he was devoted to it and enjoyed it very much. Although Fred was conscientious and hardworking, he also had a mischievous side that could be brought out quite easily.  He had a wonderful sense of humor.  With that, he loved music, especially music from the 1970's, particularly Elton John and Stevie Nicks. 

He also had a love of photography and was quite adept.  He was the one always asked to take pictures at special events and, thanks to his thoughtfulness, he was sure to burn a copy of the pictures shortly thereafter so that every friend or family member could enjoy special memories.  With that, his love of nature prompted him to take beautiful pictures of his flowers that he worked so hard on every year and the birds that came to visit his birdfeeder that he strategically placed near his office window. His yard was meticulous and even when ”the pest,” Mr. Raccoon, would come to wreak havoc in the garden and birdfeeder, Fred would set humane traps and relocate him to a more comfortable, wooded area. He was a gentle soul.  

I feel so privileged to have met Fred Vescio and I am truly saddened by his untimely departure.  I am so glad that we kept in touch and remained friends.  He had dreams of traveling and enjoying his golden years. It saddens me that he will not be able to experience those memories, but I feel blessed to have shared in many fun times with Fred and those memories I will cherish forever.  I will really miss him.

I knew Fred for many years through my work, where he took care of our computers and later helped me with mine. He was so completely knowledgeable in his field. He was a gentle and caring person and I am glad to have known him.

Matt, I'm so sorry for your loss.  I know you have suffered great loss over these past few years with the loss of Dora and now Fred.   You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.  May God comfort you, Kathy and the Vescio family during this difficult time.

First of all that is a great picture you used for this obituary, the Fred I remember.  I am so proud to say I knew Fred from way back.  I remember him being so nice and fun.  I am sending healing prayers to the whole Angi/Vescio family.  So sorry! Rest in Peace, Fred.

Fred… a wonderful guy with such a dry sense of humor; always ready and able to help me “troubleshoot.” My heart grows heavy every time I think of him.   I am just so stunned to hear of his passing; he will be missed by so many.  To his family, I am so sorry for your loss.  Goodspeed Fred.

I've worked with Fred, almost weekly, for over thirty years and he was always a humble, kind and honest person with incredible skill level. He will be greatly missed by me and my family whom he showed kindness. Those who knew and worked with him were blessed and am glad I was one. Condolences and prayers to Fred's family.
