Felty, Gene Grey, 81, of Kettering died on September 8, 2016 after a long battle with Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease. Gene, son of George and Thelma Felty, was born April 4, 1935. He married Davie Lee, his loving wife of 60 years, on October 22, 1955. He is preceded in death by his parents. he is survived by his wife, Davie; his two daughters Gina Rae (Jeff) Schaut and Sally Robin (Barney) Graham; his siblings Reva, Kent (Jo), George Milton, Hazel Ann, Delano (Cassie) and Chester (Karen); and his three granddaughters Kristin, Kelly (Ian) and Kasey. Gene chose to dedicate his life to Jehovah God on March 27, 1982 and spent the rest of his life serving God faithfully as one of Jehovah's Witnesses. He will be remembered by all who knew him as a kind and loving man who never knew a stranger. His memorial service will be held on September 17 at 1:00 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 2580 Woodman Dr. Kettering, OH 45420.
