

George Rollo Beeker passed on June 5, 2026, at the age of 92. He was born on November 6, 1933, in Dayton, Ohio, to the late Albert and Ruth (Harlow) Beeker. He graduated from Stivers High School in 1954 where he lettered in football.
While he was still in high school, George worked for a filling station from 1950 to 1954. He then served in the United States Army from 1954 until the time he was honorably discharged in 1962. He was on the Army's competitive rifle and boxing teams.
After his time in the service, George worked for NCR for 16 and a half years, and later went on to work for UPS for 25 years. During his time at UPS, he worked for 10 years delivering packages to homes, and 15 years driving their semi trucks.
George was an avid motorcycle rider, he was also deeply proud of his service and country, raising the flag every morning, and saluting it and taking it down and folding it every night.
Aside from his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Marianne (Rieger) Beeker; brothers, William Beeker and Franz Rieger; and son, Jeffrey Beeker.
He is survived by his sisters, Alberta Hicks, and Pamala Eyler; daughter, Jacqueline (Beeker) Brown and husband Kipp Brown; grandchildren, Matthew Scott (Leslie) Arp Sr. of Memphis, TN, Brooke Beeker, Jack Beeker, Katie Beeker, and Sean Beeker. He was also survived by numerous other great-grandchildren and extended family and friends.
Visitation for George will be Monday, June 15, 2026, from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at Tobias Funeral Home in Beavercreek. Funeral Service will be held the next morning at 10:00am followed by burial at Calvary Cemetery. Following burial, there will be a luncheon at Tobias Funeral Home in Beavercreek.
