George Gill Maxwell

MAXWELL, George Gill, age 84 of Beavercreek, passed away on Sunday, February 18, 2018 at Trinity Community of Beavercreek. He was preceded in death by his parents George and Virginia Maxwell. He is survived by his wife Ann Maxwell, son Tim (Lisa) Maxwell, daughter Julie (John) Mulligan, grandchildren Shannon (Pat) O’Connor, Daniel (Lauren) Mulligan, Kevin (Linda) Mulligan, Lyndsey Maxwell, 4 great-grandchildren, and brother Donald Maxwell. George served in the United States Air Force and earned a National Defense Medal. He graduated from Bradley University in 1961and went on to work in the Avionics Lab at WPAFB. He was a member of the Association of Old Crows. George loved sailing, boat building and reading. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at the Tobias Funeral Home – Beavercreek Chapel, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd. at Grange Hall Rd. with inurnment to follow in Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 9:30 am until time of services on Saturday, February 24.
