

Todd, Trudy, age 100, formerly known as Gertrude Louise Todd, joined her husband, the late George M. Todd, Sr., daughter June Pierson, granddaughter Deborah Louise Swiger and grandson Gary Lee Landefeld, in heaven early Wednesday, December 14th, 2011. Trudy is survived by daughters Doris J. Swartz and Gloria J. Todd and son George M. (Judith) Todd Jr. and many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Trudy’s parents Gustav and Anna Millat immigrated to America in the early 1900’s, 7 boys and 5 girls, Trudy being the oldest girl. She is also survived by 3 brothers, 3 sisters, many nieces, nephews and in-laws and friends. Trudy Todd was a blessing to countless people in her 100+ years. She was a constant witness of the love of God. Trudy lived a strong Christian life. Trudy loved America and proudly flew the flag every day. She was a puppeteer in her children’s ministry, traveled to Israel as a missionary, and was a member of the United Christian Center. Services will be held at United Christian Center at 433 Oak Street, Saturday, December 17, 2011. Viewing beginning at 9 AM with the service at Noon and interment at Woodland Cemetery. Immediately followed by a time of sharing and food at United Christian Center. Located off Route 35 to the Keowee Exit, continue to left on Wayne Avenue, right on Park Blvd and right on Jay Street.
