THOMAS, Gertrude (Trudy) age 92, passed away on February 17, 2015. She was born to the late Casey and Catherine Jalowiec in Chicago, Illinois on January 12, 1923. A longtime Kettering resident, Trudy was a member of St. Albert the Great Catholic Church where she was an active member and volunteer. She will be missed by many and remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Trudy was preceded in death by her husband, Edmund Thomas; son, Denis Thomas; sister, Rita Block and brother, Henry Jalowiec. She is survived by her sister, Bernadette Choffin; sons, Glen Thomas (Kim), Neal Thomas, James Thomas (Teresa); daughter, Karen Bordonaro (John); daughter-in-law, Barbara Thomas; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. The family will receive friends from 11 am, Monday, February 23, 2015 until time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 12 noon at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church.
