Giles Wetterer Nolan

Nolan, Giles W., age 83, passed away on Thursday July 16, 2015. Giles was an avid sports fan but he particularly loved the University of Miami Hurricanes, Notre Dame Fighting Irish, Cincinnati Reds and Alter High School. He worked as a manufacturer’s representative for Lexington Furniture Company for many years. But what really defined him as a man was his love for his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Florence and Roy Nolan; and by a brother, John Nolan. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Brenda Nolan; daughters, Kelli (Dan) Nolan Clawson and Debbie (Tom) Nolan Angelus; a son Michael (fiancée Lori Effinger) Nolan; sister, Joyce Nolan Straka; grandchildren, Nolan and Natalie Clawson, and Paige and Dean Angelus; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Monday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Tobias Funeral Home, 5471 Far Hills Ave.. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at Church of the Incarnation in Centerville. Interment will be in New St. Joseph Cemetery in Cincinnati.
