

Glenn R. Urschel born June 5, 1930, Dayton Ohio, passed October 14, 2024. Preceded in death by his wives, Blanche (Penwell) Urschel and Barbara (Brewster) Urschel, parents Marjorie (Dixon) Urschel and Howard Urschel, brothers Edwin and Harold Urschel. Glenn is survived by his children, Bill Urschel, Lisa (Don) Ennis, and Melissa Urschel. Grandchildren Samantha (David) Beal and Donald (Allison) Ennis. Glenn was a Veteran of the Korea War. He was a member of the VFW and the American Legion. He had a passion and talent for art and painting. He participated in local festivals displaying his art work for more than ten years. He loved to dance, play euchre, and sing his signature song “Racing with the Moon”. Glenn regularly worked out three times a week, and was a faithful follower of the University of Dayton Flyers Men’s Basketball. He retired in 1999 after working at NCR 14 years and General Motors Delco Moraine 26 years. His wishes were to have a graveside service for family which will be held at Calvary Cemetery and a Celebration of Life at a later date.
