Grace Albers

Grace Albers, of Kettering, passed away on March 14, 2026, at the age of 95. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Albers, in 2013 and daughter, Michele Johnson, in 2021. She was also preceded by her parents, Louis and Agnes Stouder. She is survived by three children: Steve (Debbie) Albers, Nick (Debbie) Albers and Sharon Herzog. She is also survived by her son-in-law, Garry Johnson, and former son-in-law, Kevin Herzog. Three grandchildren survive her: Jeremy (Jessica) Albers, Pete Johnson, and Emma Herzog, as do two great grandchildren and numerous other family members and close friends.

She was born April 16, 1930 in Dayton. She was an avid Cincinnati Reds fan and enjoyed camping in the Smoky Mountains. She loved her dogs dearly and worked for many years at Apt Vet Clinic until her retirement. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, March 20, 2026 at the Tobias Funeral Home Belmont Chapel at 12:30 PM. Friends may call at the funeral home from 10:30 AM until the time of the funeral on Friday. Interment will be in Woodland Cemetery following the funeral Friday. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to either Day City Hospice or Ellie's Rainy Day Fund.
