HALL, Harriet Jane (Osman), passed away September 22, 2014 in her home of natural causes. Jane was born in Kettering, Ohio on August 12, 1946 and was a lifelong resident. She graduated from Kettering Fairmont High School in 1964 and just recently attended her 50th high school reunion. She was a pioneer in her career, being one of the first women to operate a printing press at Monarch Marking Systems/Avery Dennison. She enjoyed her job, especially her coworkers, and worked there for forty years before retiring. Jane loved to garden and was very creative, making beautiful crafts her whole life. She also was an excellent cook, famous for her deliciously addictive dishes. She was so kind and loving that she never knew a stranger and would drop everything to help someone in need. Her kind warm smile and sense of humor will be missed by all and the world is a little dimmer without the beautiful light of her personality. She is preceded in death by her father, Harry Larue Osman, and her mother, Martha Jane Osman (Good). She is survived by her best friend and only child, Amber Hamilton (husband Kelly Hamilton), her four brothers, whom she loved tremendously, Bob Osman (Rhonda Carnal), George Osman ( wife Charlotte Osman), Chuck Osman, and Martin Osman, many cherished nieces, nephews and extended family, and hundreds of beloved friends. The viewing will be held on Tuesday September 30, 2014 at TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-FAR HILLS CHAPEL, 5471 Far Hills Avenue Dayton, OH 45429 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm. The funeral services will take place on October 1, 2014 at the same location at 1:00pm, followed by burial at Beavertown Cemetary in Kettering.
