Haw-Feng Shy

Haw-Feng (Tom) Shy, beloved brother, husband, father, and grandfather passed away peacefully at Kettering Health Center on July 31, 2023, at the age of 76. He was born on June 23, 1947 on the Dachen Islands, Zhenjiang China. He was the youngest son of six children. He was surrounded and supported by his wife, two daughters, son, caregivers, family members and friends during the last days of his life.

施浩峯（湯姆），愛戴的弟弟，丈夫，父親和外公，於二零二三年七月三十一日安詳地在凱特林健康醫療中心過世，享年七十六歲。他於一九四七年六月二十三日在中國浙江省大陳島出生。他是家中六個孩子裡最小的。在他生命的最後幾周里，他受到夫人，兩個女兒，一個兒子，醫護人員及親友的陪伴和照顧。

Haw-Feng Shy survived many challenges in his life, hardship growing up during the Chinese Civil War, using his tailor skills to support his wife and kids in Taiwan, etc. To find a better life for himself and his family, Haw-Feng brought them to the United States and pursued a successful career as a Business Owner and Chef.

浩峯經歷了許多生活中的挑戰：從幼年時在中國內戰時的艱辛，成家後用裁縫的手藝養家糊口，等等。為了給家人創造更好的生活，他帶全家移民美國，之後成為餐館的老闆和大廚。

Haw-Feng was survived by his sister Xiang-Hua Shy, wife Mei-Rong Shy, daughter Ya-Chin Heather (Richie) Ho, daughter Ya-Whet Tracy (Dylan) Dear, and son William Shy. Grandchildren Ethan Zheng-Quan Ho, Aiden Zheng-Wei Ho, Adam Taylor Dear, and Sophia Alana Dear. Tom was preceded in death by his parents, brother, and three sisters.

浩峯辭世後留下了姐姐施香花，夫人施梁美容，女兒賀施雅琴和女婿賀天亮，女兒迪爾-施雅蕙和女婿迪爾-戴倫，兒子施威廉。外孫子賀正權-伊森，外孫子賀正威-艾登，外孫子迪爾-亞當-泰勒，外孫女迪爾-索菲亞-阿拉娜。浩峯的父母，一位兄長和三位姐姐都已過世。

Visitation and Service will be held at 10:00 AM, Sunday August 6th, 2023 at Tobias Funeral Home. Address: 3970 Dayton Xenia Rd. Beavercreek Ohio.

告別儀式將在托比亞斯殯儀館於二零二三年八月六日上午十點舉行。

Haw-Feng will be deeply missed by his family and friends. He will be remembered for his bold courage in leading his family to a new life in America.
