Helen S. Clark

CLARK, Helen S., age 89, formerly of Lebanon, KY, passed away on Saturday September 3, 2011 at Heartland of Centerville. She was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Joseph W., who had passed away only 12 days prior, and son-in-law, Daniel Martin. She is survived by sons, Joseph (Patty) Clark Jr. of Springfield, OH; J. Bosley (Betty) Clark of Montezuma, OH; Francis H. (Brenda) Clark of Madison, MS; and Richard A. (Shawn) Clark of Urbana, OH; daughter, Helen Martin of Sugar Creek Township; 12 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren. She is the last of 11 children. Helen and her husband Joseph were long-time residents of St. Leonard’s (Joseph Bernadin) and members of St. Leonard’s Catholic Church. Helen was a graduate of St. Catherines Academy, Springfield, KY. The family would also like to give a special thanks to Heartland of Centerville for the loving care extended over the last few years, and to Acclaim Hospice for the special comfort they provided to Helen and her family during her final hours. Family will receive friends from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM on Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME – FAR HILLS CHAPEL 5471 Far Hills Ave. Services to follow at 1:00 PM at St. Leonard’s Catholic Church.
