

CRAFTON, Henrietta A. “Billie, age 89 of Centerville Passed away Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at Kettering Medical Center. Billie was born on February 14, 1925 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Burr A. and Margaret Dean. After living her first years in Hamilton with her parents, 3 sisters and 2 brothers the Dean family moved to Camden, Ohio where she met the love of her life, Robert L. Crafton. The married in 1946 and remained so for 65 years until Roberts death in 2011. After raising her sons, Robert W. (Crystal) Crafton of The Villages FL, David L. (Shelley) Crafton of Miamisburg OH, and Douglas S. (Janet) Crafton of Baton Rouge LA, Billie went to work for the Centerville City Schools as a Teachers Aide and retired after 30 years. She is also survived by grandchildren, David (Mindy) Crafton, Janee` (Phil) Moore, Jason (Laura) Crafton, and Ashley Crafton Harding; great grandchildren, Samantha Crafton, Owen CraftonMattie Lynn Harding, and Samual & Cameron Crafton; brothers, Robert and Jack Dean; and numerous other relatives and loving friends. Billie was a graduate of Fairmont High School. She was an avid tennis player and USTA Team Captain. She was elected into the USTA Hall of Fame and in 2013 received the award as Team Captain of the year. She also served on the board of 5 Seasons for many years.
