Howard Schmidt, age 73 of Beavercreek, Ohio passed away November 27, 2020 at Hospice of Dayton. He was preceded in death by his parents Howard and Margaret (Behnke) Schmidt. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years Joanne; children Kelly (Charles) Adamson of Sycamore Illinois, Tammy (Kurt) Wendling of Canton, Georgia; grandchildren Kimberly Wagner, Kolby Wendling, Justin Wendling; 5 great grandchildren; and 2 brothers.
Howard served 28 years in the United States Air Force and was employed as the logistics manager for the Department of Defense at Wright Patterson Air Force Base. Howard was a loving husband who loved his children and grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held in the spring for Howard at the Georgia National Cemetery. In Lieu of Flowers. Memorials in Howard’s name may be made to Hospice of Dayton or Georgia National Cemetery.
