Ida "Ginny" Yates

Ida Virginia "Ginny" Yates, 85, of Beavercreek, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, April 30, 2021, 2021. Known as Ginny, she was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Jerry C. (Jake) Yates in October 2013 and by her daughter Kimberly D. Wilson in February 2021. She is also preceded in death by parents Andrew and Mary Craft Minton, brothers; Hubert, Eddie, and Gary Minton, and sisters; Jeanetta, Britt and Marie Ferguson. Ginny is survived by brother Richard (Linda) Minton and sister Gail (Gene) Carmen all of Knoxville, Tennessee, daughter Deborah (Ron) Gay of Fairborn, Ohio and son, Ronnie (Kym) Yates of Springboro, Ohio, son-in-law Mark Wilson of Riverside, Ohio, seven grandchildren; Trish (Brian) Eaver, Christa Charles, Randy (Flo) Gage, Jenelle Schiessler (deceased), Lindsay Wilson, Korye, Konner, and Kristyn Yates; ten great-grandchildren; Sierra Tacey, Kayla Charles, Mia Charles, Olivia and Rory Gage, Avery Eaver, Oliver Vedder, Austin and Justin Schiessler, and Matt Baker. She graduated from Fulton High School in Knoxville, Tennessee in 1954 and member of Oakwood Baptist Church. The family would like to acknowledge best friend since junior high school, Joyce Dukes of Knoxville, Tennessee, the staff of Trinity Community, Beavercreek Chapel, and in particular nurse Julie and STNA Karen for their loving dedication to their mom.

Debbie, Ronnie and family , i want to extend my condolences to you in the passing on of your love one.
Ginny is in no pain or sorrow now you should get comfort in knowing that.
She and JC loved each other so much you could tell by the way they acted . I will always remember her beautiful red hair. May God bless each and every one of you.
