Plunket, Jackie L., age 80 of Dayton passed away Sunday, January 27, 2013 at Hospice of Dayton. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Chester “Chet” Plunket in 2000; parents John and Rhodia Young; and siblings: Ruby White, Ralph Young, Ruth Jackson, Jess Young, Rhoda Milner, and John L. Young. Jackie is survived by 5 children: Mike (Emma) Plunket , Karen (Gary) McBride, David Plunket, Janet (David) Bonnell, and Keith (Maria) Plunket; a sister Joan (Jim) Green; 7 grandchildren numerous step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Jackie retired from Kroger after 29 years and was a longtime member of Calvary Baptist Church in North Dayton. The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 31, 2013 from 4-8pm at Tobias Funeral Home, Belmont Chapel 648 Watervliet Ave. The Funeral service will be held at 10AM on Friday at the funeral home with Pastor Mike Plunket officiating. Burial in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
