ALEXANDER, James Luther, age 93 of Beavercreek, passed away on Sunday, March 4, 2012 at Trinity Community of Beavercreek. He was born in Load, KY on September 10, 1918. He is preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Phibe Alexander and William and Rosetta Carver; wife, Omah Alexander and great-grandson, Noah Paterchak. He is survived by his wife, Nellie Alexander; daughter and son in-law, Connie and Gary Sargent; son and daughter in-law, Doug and Dianne Alexander; grandsons, Will and Jason Alexander; granddaughters, Jennifer Sargent Paterchak and Rebecca Sargent; great-granddaughters, Emma and Grace Paterchak; brother and sister in-law, Bill and Dian Alexander and several other relatives and friends. James was an amazing man. He taught us so much by expamples in his life and in his death. He is our hero. He retired from General Motors. He served in the United States Marine Corp during W.W. II in the Pacific Theater where he earned a Purple Heart Medal. The family would like to extend their thanks to the staff of Trinity and Hospice of Dayton for their tender loving care. Memorial services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 10, 2012 at the Bellbrook United Methodist Church, 47 East Franklin Street, Bellbrook, OH.
