He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Sue Blair; son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Shannon Blair; and granddaughter, Piper Blair.
James liked the outdoors and loved to hunt and fish.
Visitation will be held at Tobias Funeral Home, 5471 Far Hills Ave, Dayton, OH 45429, on September 25, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
He had many friends and will be greatly missed.
