James Leslie Carwile, age 69, of Gainesboro, Tennessee passed away on Friday, July 15th, 2022 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center, Cookeville, Tennessee. James was born November 2nd, 1952 in Dayton, Ohio. He was the son of James Lilburn Carwile and Marjorie Carwile. James was preceded in death by his father, his brother, David Carwile, and his sister, Sharon Christman. He was retired as a truck driver for many years and was into antique motorcycles.
Survivors include his wife Barbara Carwile of Gainesboro; daughter, Stacy Watkins; grandchildren, Hannah and Ethan Watkins,sister, Lynda Day and mother, Marjorie Storer.
A visitation for James will be held Wednesday, July 20th, 2022 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Tobias Funeral Home - Far Hills Chapel, 5471 Far Hills Avenue, Dayton, Ohio 45429. A funeral service Thursday, July 21st, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Miami Valley Memory Gardens Mausoleum #3, 1639 East Lytle Five Points Road, Centerville, Ohio 45458.
