DOENCH, Dr. James Henry Sr., age 87 of Marco Island, Florida previously of Dayton, Ohio passed away on Sunday, July 3, 2016. Jim was born in Dayton, Ohio February 14, 1929 to the late Henry and Lillian Doench. Preceded in death by his wife, Jacqueline Doench and brother, Robert C. Doench. Survived by son, Dr. James H. Doench II and daughter in law Diana Doench; daughter, Gwendolyn Troha and son in law Dr. Frank Troha; 4 grandchildren, Clinton Doench, Clayton Doench, Leigh (Troha) Breznay, and Alexis (Troha) Melvoli, great grandchildren, Braxton Doench, Maddox Doench, Lynix Doench, Blake Breznay, Graham Breznay, and Mason Mevoli. Dr. Doench practiced dentistry in the Dayton area for 37 years; he was dedicated to dentistry and his patients. He always had kind and encouraging words for everyone in his life. Dr. Doench had a wonderful life with Jackie, his wife of 64 years. They traveled and enjoyed their houseboat on Lake Cumberland KY and winter trips to Marco Island.
