James David Hardy

HARDY, James “David”, age 63 of Jeffersonville, passed away on Saturday, December 22, 2012. He is preceded in death by his father, James Hardy. He is survived by his mother, Geneva (Bob) Gray; son, Richard Hardy; daughter and son in-law, Regina and Kelly Mason; sisters, Brenda (Paul) Williams, Debbie (Daniel) Potts, Karen (Jeff) Skinner, Sandy (Jeff) Wheeler; grandchildren, Melinda Faulkner, Lacey Rader, Tayler Hardy, David Hardy, Stephanie Mason; great-grandchildren, Eli Faulkner, Logan Focht and Sophia Focht; beloved life-partner, Connie Webb and her children, Garry and Kaye Spradlin; beloved companion, Oliver, and numerous other relatives and friends. He retired from the United States Navy. David never knew a stranger and was such a loving and caring person that he was willing to help anyone in need. The family will receive relatives and friends at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME – BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd ., Beavercreek, Ohio from 5 – 7 p.m. on Thursday, December 27, 2012. Funeral services will be held at the Phillips Funeral Home, 1004 S. 7th St., Ironton, Ohio on December 28, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. with the family greeting relatives and friends from 1:00 until the time of the service.
