

Ray, James B., 87, of Dayton, passed away Saturday at Heartland of Kettering. He is preceded in death by his wife Doris L. Ray, parents Lora and Martha Ray, sister Anna Virginia Moore, and sister-in-law Marjorie Ray. He is survived by his sisters Wilma Hoop and husband Vaughn of Beavercreek, Roszella Comstock and husband Joel of Indiana; brothers Jimmie Ray of Dayton, Dennis Ray and wife Lois of Tennessee, Bobby Ray and wife Eva of Miamisburg; nieces and nephews Chesley Masters, Patty Gilliland, Sandy Zimmerman, Susan Yannitti, Nancy Conrad, Kandie Goodpastor, Kristie Snyder, Debbie Greer, Cindy Sisco, Joseph Ray, Rhonda Crain and Dana Ray; numerous great nieces and great nephews, great-great nieces and nephews. James was a veteran of WWII in the U.S. Air Force, retired from General Motors in 1982, was a member of Alpha Lodge # 729 F & AM, member of the Antioch Shrine Temple of Dayton, member of the White Shrine and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star #555. Funeral services will be 10 AM Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd. at Grange Hall Rd. Interment Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
