
RIDDELL, James L., “Jim”, age 82 of Miami Township, passed after a lengthy illness, on Thursday, September 29, 2011. Jim was a United States Marine Corp. veteran of the Korean Conflict. He owned and operated Riddell Dental for 45 years. Jim enjoyed working at his dental lab, fishing the many streams of Dayton, and growing his famous tomatoes. He is preceded in death by his brothers; Jerry and Ronnie Riddell. Jim is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Marlene Riddell, he is also survived by his devoted daughters Kim(Phil)Oliveri of Pittsburgh, PA., and Lisa(Rodney)Morgan of Indian Trail, NC., grandchildren; Brittany and Joseph Oliveri, and Jared and Anna Morgan, sisters; Jean Boesenburg, Sophie Hee, and Anna Taylor, numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. Memorial Mass to be held 11:00 AM Monday, October 3, 2011 at St. Henry’s Catholic Church with Fr. Tom Shearer celebrant. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the mass. In lieu of flowers contributions may be sent to the Boystown.org., in Jim’s memory.
