

Rose, James, 88, of New Carlisle, passed away Thursday, July 16, 2015 at Hospice of Dayton. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 62 years, 4sisters and 2 brothers. He is survived by his son James C. Rose and wife Cynthia of New Carlisle; daughter Glenna Jean Henseleit and husband Robert of Richmond, IN; 3 grandchildren Sean Henseleit, Nicholas Rose, Emily Rose; numerous nieces, nephews and many special friends. James was retired from WPAFB as a Foreman after 32 years of service, was a member of the Huber Heights Church of God, was a Sunday school teacher his entire adult life and a mentor to many. He was a veteran of WWII in the US Army, 11th Airborne Division as well as a member of the Civilian Conservation Corp. Jim’s love of service and country was exceeded only by his love of the Holy Scriptures. “Well done good and faithful servant! Come and share in thy Master’s Joy!” Funeral services will be 1:30 PM Monday, July 20, 2015 at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd at Grange Hall Rd. Dave Thomas and George Pelfrey officiating. Interment Valley View Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends from 11:30 AM – 1 :30 PM Monday.
