Simovart, James W., 73, of Clayton, passed away Sunday, June 23, 2019. He is preceded in death by his parents Hugo and Mary (Maddux) Simovart. Survived by his loving life partner Sharon, her sons Pat and Jeff; granddaughters Kelsey and Kaleigh Yerian; sisters Sydne Lister and Benita Nairn (Ken); good friends Roy and Sandy Cashour; numerous nieces and nephews. He was a retired business owner, a veteran of the US Army. Jim loved his cats Dexter and Ruby which never left his side. He loved riding his Harley, working in his yard and being with family and friends at special times such as holidays and cookouts. Family will receive friends from 6-7:30 PM Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd. at Grange Hall Rd. A Celebration of Life will be 7:30 PM Tuesday. Contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the American Cancer Society or the Wounded Warriors Project in his memory. Sharon, I am so sorry for your loss. I know how much you loved Jim and how much you will miss him. I am glad I got to meet him after we retired. I’m sorry I didn’t keep in touch more. Cherish all the memories and Jim will always be with you till it’s time to be together again. I’ll continue to keep you in my prayers. My condolences go out to his family as well.

Hello, I am so sorry Sharon for your loss. The many times we shared working side by side and me hearing stories of your Jim. Made me sad to hear that after you retire to be with him more and have a good time that he fell ill and now has passed away. U are in my prayers and if you need anything please let me know.
