
VIOLET, James Edward, age 78, loving husband and father went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 29th. Preceded in death by parents, Harry and Mossie Violet and 1 brother, Harry Jr. He is survived by his loving wife, Bonnie of 59 years, 2 daughters, Janice Kennedy and Deborah Apseloff (David), 2 grandchildren, Brandon and Morgan and 1 step grandson, Brandon, 1 brother, Virgil of California, 3 sisters, Ethel Berger and Ollie Brown of Dayton and Mary Thornton of California and numerous nieces and nephews. He was an active member and deacon of the First Baptist Church of Kettering. He was employed by NCR for 18 years, McDonald’s Corp., Wright Patterson AFB and owner of Minuteman Press. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Monday, October 3, 2011 at the First Baptist Church of Kettering, 3939 Swigart Road with the funeral service at 12:00 p.m. Reverends Chad Keck and Matt Fleck officiating. Burial immediately following at Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
