

passed away Sunday, July 17, 2011 in Kettering, Ohio at Walnut Creek Nursing Center where he was a resident. Jim was born August 21, 1942 in Portsmouth, Ohio. He was a graduate of Ohio University and received a Master’s degree from Xavier University in Criminal Justice. Jim worked in the Juvenile Division of the Montgomery County Courts for many years. Jim was a devoted football fan of Ohio State and the Bengals. He was preceded in death by his father, Clifford E. Williams and his beloved mother, Martha Jean Williams who passed on the same day. Jim is survived by his sisters, Jan Owens, Jane DeWees, and Janet Willett; 4 nephews; 1 niece; 2 great-nephews; and many cousins. Visitation will be 9:30-10:30 am, Thursday, July 21, 2011 at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-BELMONT CHAPEL, 648 Watervliet Ave., Dayton, Ohio. A chapel service will follow at 10:30 am, Thursday with interment in Wheelersburg, Ohio. Thanks are extended to the staff and nurses at Walnut Creek. A special thanks to his cousin Joan Nuessgen who supplied him with smiles, candy bars, and Dr. Pepper. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your favorite charity, in Jim’s memory.
