Tobias, Jane Irene born June 17, 1932 and died May 27, 2013 from effects of COPD. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert J. and Audrey P. Herres, sisters Sheila Herres, Eleanor Plecker, and Gloria Herres. Jane is survived by her husband of almost 58 years, James L. Tobias, daughter Linda Lamb, son Larry Tobias, grandchildren Nick Lamb, Danielle Mattson, Justin Lamb, and Audrey (Tobias) Bateman. Jane attended Patterson Co-op High School and was employed by Ohio Bell and Rikes/Shillitos. Per Janes’ wishes, she will be cremated and her ashes sent aloft in a helium balloon during a private ceremony. We will greatly miss her ready smile, gentle nature, and especially her sense of humor.
