Janice (Steffen) Minnich

Janice (Steffen) Minnich of Beavercreek, Ohio passed away on Sunday, March 2, 2025, at her home surrounded by loved ones. Janice was born on March 26, 1935, in Greenville, Ohio. She is preceded in death by her husband Paul Minnich, parents Edward Steffen and Margaret (Rice) Steffen, and brother Robert Steffen. Janice is survived by her sons Todd Minnich of Moraine, Tim (Deanna) Minnich, and grandchildren Nick and Morgan Minnich all of Beavercreek.

Janice grew up in Eaton, Ohio and graduated from Eaton High School. After graduating Janice moved to Dayton and attended Miami Jacobs Business College. After college she worked at Dayton Mortgage Company where she met the love of her life, Paul. Jan and Paul went on their first date in May, were engaged by June, and married by August. Paul and Jan adopted their first son Todd in 1962 and second son Tim in 1964.

Jan worked in the family business as a secretary and accountant for many years. Janice and Paul loved to travel the country in their 5th wheel for many years. After many years of commuting from Florida to Ohio they decided to move to Xenia for good in 2016 to see family and watch their grandkids play sports which they loved so much. In 2019 Jan and Paul moved in with their son Tim and daughter-in-law Deanna in Beavercreek.

Jan was also a member of Faith Lutheran Church of Dayton. She was the sweetest and most loving mom and grandmother who will be missed by all.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, March 11th , 2025, at Tobias Funeral Home - Beavercreek Chapel, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd Beavercreek, OH 45432, with a service to follow. Janice will be laid to rest at Valley View Memorial Gardens following the service.
