Jean C. Meade

MEADE, Jean C., age 86, of Dayton, Ohio passed away Sunday, August 5, 2012 at Kettering Medical Center. Jean was born on December 22, 1925 and grew up in Ashland, Kentucky where she went to school, met and married her loving husband of 70 years, Glenn A. Meade. She is also survived by her daughter, Gail Lee (Gary) Spacht; her son, Marc E. (Beth) Meade; three grand children, David Spacht, Gennie Trujillo and Adam (Kelly) Spacht; her great granddaughter, Katharine Spacht; her niece, Shirley Brown; and numerous other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy F. and Beatrice (Plummer) Clevenger, her great granddaughter, Ashley Rankin and her siblings. Jean enjoyed golf, bowling, traveling and spending time with her friends. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME – FAR HILLS CHAPEL, 5471 Far Hills Ave. at Rahn Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45429, with the funeral service at 3:00 p.m. Pastor Donald Payne officiating.
